Binding of book is in a gold color with a drawing of a gold mine; Title is in metallic gold color. Some ageing and wear on cover but very good considering the age of the book, copyrighted in 1897. Has a pull-out map of Alaska inserted in the very front befoe the fly leaf. The first couple of pages are coming loose from mid-way to the top of the book but still intact from the middle down to bottom of book. No other pages are loose. No markings in book. Very clean and good for age of copyright.
